EDDY SAGEBIN

WATERCOLOR & INK ARTIST, ILLUSTRATOR

Eddy started drawing at a young age and given a pen to draw with instead of a pencil, which escalated into a love affair of watercolor and ink paintings. From Brazilian and Portuguese heritage, he draws his inspiration from the many different cultures he's been blessed to be a part of, including his birth land of Utah and his adopted home of Kansas City. He's an amazing friend to everyone and a gentle soul, unless there's a soccer game and his team is losing.
He loves his beard, good food, rainy days, his pups, and his family. He enjoys working with his hands and will take that over an office job any day.
Quirks about Eddy: He was once a sushi chef, lived in Portugal for two years as a missionary, and used to be a wrestler in High School. He makes the best white-chicken-chili in town and won 1st place at a chili cook-off.

CAROL SAGEBIN

CERAMICIST, GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Carol was born in Brazil and loved watching cartoons and anime as a young child, always trying to draw the characters and creating her own stories, which led to her passion for drawing. She's always been creative and meticulous with her hands, so graphic design always felt natural to her. She immigrated to Utah in 9th grade and took every art class possible, exposing herself to everything that wasn't readily available to her before. She graduated High School with an advanced diploma in Arts, Adobe products became her best friends, as well as pottery, which has become her favorite art medium.
She loves big trees, the rain, to cook, her animals, her family, and being a mother.
Quirks about Carol: She wanted to be a veterinarian but couldn't stand the sight of blood, she danced in high school, baking is her Achilles heel, she's tech-savy, and loves video games.

After creating SageTribe Art in 2014, we had dreams of what this brand could become. As life took over and full time jobs demanded our full attention, our business was left in the back-burner waiting to become what we had envisioned it to be for many years. As our first child was born, and now our second, we didn't want our lives to be too busy for our families and too busy to accomplish the important things in life, the things that made us happy.
Years of studies, research, training, and accumulation of art supplies has resulted in the easy transition into accomplishing our dream of being professional Artists.
We have more talent and knowledge today than we ever had in 2014, and we plan on using it wisely! We are proof that patience, having a budget, savings, and determination can accomplish wonders when you have a goal to reach, and reached it we have!
